It all began with sausage.

About a decade ago I started tinkering around making bacon and sausages. They were so good everyone said “you should be selling these.” So we did. In 2016 we launched a catering company in Chicago specializing in flavorful hand-made sausages we delivered and sold at farmers markets. As the years went by we began doing more in-home events and dinners which, like everything else in 2020, were abruptly brought to a halt. But with the bad came some good, we welcomed our son into the world and moved back the DC area where we originally met way back in 2007.

We love good food and our travels have introduced us to many different flavors, techniques, and ingredients which we are happy to incorporate into our cooking and share with you. Though the market days are behind us, the time spent as a vendor was invaluable learning the rhythms of the growing season and using in-season ingredients in our food.
